Description

In Parental Love, you play the role of a father of two who has a falling out with his wife, Emily. You were a cocaine addict, you were a bad father, sharing only brief moments of happiness with your children between being drunk and sober, your children and Emily, whom you now yearn for the happy times they shared with you. Sometime after the birth of your second daughter, Ada, Emily decided it would be best for the two of you to get a divorce.

You two got through a breakup, and the court recognized her as sole custody of your children. Fifteen years have passed since then, and you have gone through several different rehabilitation programs. Now that you're drug free, you've decided to start dating Emily again. You've been dating her online for many months now and your relationship is blossoming. She's taken a new liking to you and believes that you two can get things back on track.

You live in different states, but it's summer and you decide to visit Emily in Ohio. The game starts when you first meet her in a bar. The game is a visual novel in which you have to make various decisions. Every decision you make in parental love will affect the future in one way or another. I guarantee you won't run into every scene in the game on your first playthrough without some saving, which I encourage.

The actual gameplay comes down to simple decision making. Along the way you will meet many other female characters such as Ada, Ellie and some of their friends. There will be other men who will try to get at your women, but you won't let that happen.
