Description

Take up your sword, bow or magic and fight or seduce your way to victory. Awakenings are a well-known and sad truth for the people of Cortiana and the surrounding kingdoms. The devastation caused by these recurring historical events has been felt for centuries, the lands where the Awakenings take place are never truly restored until the next one begins. But now they are in the past.

Almost 250 glorious peaceful years have passed since Irain, the hero of the fifth and final Awakening, did away with evil forever. The cycle of heroes who rose up to stop the Awakening only to mysteriously come back to life to lead the next Awakening themselves has been interrupted. At least that's what they once thought. There are rumors from the west that Irain, still hailed as the legendary hero who stopped the Awakening forever, has been spotted again.

And so the interrupted cycle continues. You, chosen by blind luck or divine fate, must lead the attack if a new Awakening is indeed to come. Answers must be found.Answers to questions you'd rather forget. Are the Awakenings the will of the Designer and his way of fulfilling his promise to destroy all life so he can start over with his creation, as some have come to believe?

And is there really no way to stop the hero of every Awakening - including you - from one day returning at the head of what they once swore to stop?
